Do I need a diploma or GED to enroll?
No, a diploma or GED is not required to begin the program. However, you will need one to take the state board exam. We provide support for students to earn their GED while in school.
Do you offer online or remote nail technician courses?
Yes, we offer hybrid programs that combine online learning with in-person, hands-on training. This allows students to balance their studies with other commitments.

Online: 11 hours per week

What does part-time learning look like?
Day Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM–3:30 PM.
Night Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM–3:30 PM.
What’s included in the cost of the program?
The tuition covers everything you need to succeed, including books, access to the online platform, a student practice kit, a state board exam kit, and an Apres Gel X kit.
Do you offer programs for out-of-town students?
Students must reside in Texas to be eligible for a Texas nail technician license. Unfortunately, we cannot license individuals outside of Texas.
Are there age requirements for enrollment?
Yes, you must be at least 17 years old to enroll in Got Nails University. If under 18, parental or guardian consent will be required

Full-Time Schedule:

Does the program include a kit and books?
Yes, tuition includes books, access to the online platform, a state board kit, a student daily practice kit, and an Apres Gel X kit.
What are the uniform requirements?
Uniform: For practical sessions, you’ll wear scrubs. You can select any color you like!
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required for safety—tennis shoes or Crocs work perfectly. Open-toe shoes like slides or flip-flops are not allowed.
